Just a little update.

I haven’t been very present on my blog. One reason is I haven’t had any internet at home and I don’t live close enough to town to just go sit at a food place and just hit off the wifi. I’ve also been putting stuff in storage for a move from Arkansas to Texas. I actually leave tomorrow morning! It’s going to be a nice new start down there. I should be posting more regularly once I get down there. I want to get back to three times a week. I did write several food blogs yesterday that I have scheduled to come out over the next several Wednesday’s. I’ll definitely have several gardening blog posts to do when I get to Texas for my Friday posts. Monday’s are going to be empty for awhile until I get my own place down there. That’s my kind of home decor day to share decorating idea’s. I also do thrift hauls on that day too. I have lots of blog posts planned for sure. I have lots of ideas and look forward to sharing them with you.

Much love & Many blessings!

I have a rock and stone obsession. There I said it. I have a absolute love for rocks and stones. If It’s interesting and I can carry it home it comes! I don’t think most people pay attention to the ground. I also live in Arkansas and we have lots of rock! I find them mostly at the creeks and rivers when I’m fishing. I find some while going on walks on dirt roads. Here’s all I’ve found in the last couple month’s. So many color variations an textures. Some of these I will use to stage my succulents and cacti. I’ll say some stuff about my finds. Like where I found them and if I plan to use them for staging.

Found this on my walk today. Love the subtle grey variations.

Found on my walk also. This is both sides of the same rock. I plan to use this one for staging. I love the dark color and grey and cream color variations.

Two pieces of river glass I found at the river. Going toward Jasper, AR. I think it was at Pruit (spelling?)

Found this one at the river too. At pruit also. I love all the holes and such amazing textures. I might use this one for staging also.

This is a snail shell I found. I found this at Long Creek which isn’t far from where I live.

I’ll be moving back to Arkansas from Iowa on the 24th. I’m excited to be back home and out of Iowa. I’ll be living with my parents at first, but will try and come up with some posts to share. Once I get a place I will share how i’m decorating my apartment. Show you my style and how different styles can merge together. I’m an eclectic (my friend calls it worldly) person and have stuff that expands across different era’s and cultures. I do have one post I’ll be putting up soon from my apartment in Iowa. It just shows how I group items that I’ve collected over the years. I also plan some baking posts and re-purposing posts. I don’t want to make this too long, just touching base.

Much love!!!

Knock, knock….Who’s there?

Let me tell you a little bit of why I bought this amazing door knocker. I’m moving back to Arkansas at the end of July. I plan to build myself a little cottage/cabin. I will be using as much reclaimed and recycled materials as possible. I want to as gentle to nature as I can. I’m going to grow and raise as much of my own food as possible. I’ve been collection interesting pieces like this for awhile to use in my future home. I’ve been eyeing ¬†this knocker for awhile now. I’ve been so in love with her. She just speaks to me and is so welcoming. What better way to welcome people to my home.

I can’t wait to share the growth of my future home. I hope you will join me on my home ¬†journey. I will for sure post updates about my Cottage/Cabin build. Any tips are absolutely welcome.

Much love!!!
